Already a diver?

So what can you do as a qualified diver with LSUSAC?

Continue your training

If you’ve already qualified with BSAC you can continue your training with us.

We run Sports Diver and Dive Leader courses as well as Skill Development Courses so we have something to suit everyone. To learn more about the courses, take a look at our ‘training’ section.

If you’d like to book onto our courses you’ll need to buy membership for that course. There are limited spaces for these so make sure you book on quickly!

Crossover from other agencies

Already qualified with another agency? Continue your adventure with us by crossing over to BSAC!

We offer crossover courses for qualified divers from PADI, SSI, GUE, CMAS and many more. To see a full list of equivalent qualifications, click on the button below!

If you’re not sure, get in touch with us to discuss your next steps.

Become an instructor

Have a passion for sharing the sport with other people? Becoming a Scuba Instructor is incredibly rewarding and a fantastic way to cement your own diving skills. (It’s also pretty fun too)

As a club we are always in need of new instructors so we offer support and heavily subsidised BSAC instructor courses to those who show interest.

The first step is to do the ‘Instructor Foundation Course’, a weekend long course which teaches you the basics of teaching in the classroom and pool. This is one of the most enjoyable courses BSAC offers and qualifies you as an ‘Assistant Diving Instructor’.

The next step is to become an ‘Open Water Instructor’. This is a bit more tricky but entirely achievable and qualifies you to teach students, unsupervised in open water. This is the real deal and so involves more assessment stages than the IFC course.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, get in touch with us and we’ll guide you through the process.

Come on club trips

What’s the point of all that training if we never go on trips?

Club trips are the best way to make use of that qualification. We go all round the UK as well as a yearly abroad trip to experience some of the most unique diving the world has to offer.

From diving with wild grey seals in the Farne Islands to swimming with turtles in the Mediterranean, we’re sure you’ll be spoilt for choice.
